Downloading from microsoft.

HELP! When I try to download recommended updates from
Microsoft site I get the following message.

"The software you are installing has not passed Windows
Logo testing to verify its compatability with Windows XP"

Why do I get this message, and how can I download the
recommended updates.

It sounds like you are downloading the wrong update. Try
running the update from start menu, entitled windows
update.
