torbar

wanted to make a complette syste,m backup and it indicated that I nneded 28
MB of frre space on my second drive which is not available. I had
inadvertently downloaded all the langauage files from WU. I wanted to
eliminate the downloaded files since they all failed to install.

My quedstion: Where does Vista save the downloaded files and can I delete
them?

I am using Vista Ultimate.

Thanks

Windows Updates are downloaded to
C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution

Wrong. Read the OP's question again.

Windows Updates (WU) are located in;
C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution

Second part of question. Can I delete everything in that folder? There are
numerous sub folders.

Thanks

Did he ask for updates?

Where is the word UPDATE? You idiot?

He downloaded his Language file from Washington University. those are
tutorials, perhaps his colleagues research.

What is wrong with you, idiot?

If you download anything in Vista the default is the folder I indicated. It
does not go to a system folder.

You skip your Ritalin, idiot.

Oh, Alex. You're such a funny moron.

What is the subject of this thread?
The OP (torbar) named it?
"Downloaded files from Windows Update Site"
Where is the word UPDATE? You idiot?

"Downloaded files from Windows Update Site"

Can you see it, fool? Look real hard.
That's what trobar put in the subject line
of the post he made.

Go to bed, goob. You are really a trifling fool
and you've displayed that so well to everyone.

Yes, I did but he was talking about a totally different subject. Could you
see it?

Are you still stupid? Go back to bed and try again.

If you know how to read a thread, then you'll know
that torbar and me have it worked out already.

Your pathetic attempt at assistance is not needed,
nor wanted.
