Superslow download from Windows Update?

Hi,

I'm trying to download some of the latest Vista updates through Windows
update.

It's taking > 10 minutes to download 295 MB of files - and I'm on a 3Mbps
DSL line.

Anyone else having trouble?

That's perfectly normal. Do the math:

3 megabits in 1 sec =
3/8 megabyte in 1 sec =
295 megabytes in 786.6667 sec =
295 megabytes in 13.1 min
