I dual boot mainly to Linux.

None of their add-ons will download u-tube videos using 2 browsers.

I had no problem with Win XP the last time I used it, but now it does not even work.

Ideas ?

I am not sure why, but ok. I have two Linux machines but they don't do
much of anything. As I can do what I can under Linux, plus tons more.

Your XP doesn't work? Or downloading youtube videos doesn't work? If the
latter, which browser are you using?

XP browsers do not download videos by themselves: you have
to instal an appropriate /Tools/Add-On/Extension e.g. RealDownLoader.

Youtube will attempt to break the downloaders, by changing things on
their end. In return, the downloader people have to patch their
code to compensate. You can find evidence of this ongoing war,
with a little Googling. The only downloader methods that are
going to work, are ones receiving constant attention and
redesign.
