download service pack and blaster protection

When I try downloading service pack 4 and blaster
protection, The system says downloading for about 5
minutes and than a new screen comes up wit a small box in
the left hand corner with a triangle, square and a circle
in it. I never get the download screen.

Hi Tom,
You can download the MS03-039 patch (secures the machine against the Blaster
virus and others exploiting this vulnerability) directly from the following
link:

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/MS03-039.asp

If you can't download to the affected machine, try downloading the patch to
another machine, then moving it via floppy and installing on the affected
machine.

It also wouldn't be a bad idea to run a virus scan first, to verify the
machine isn't already infected (and clean it, if it is infected). A virus
infection could be the cause of the symptoms you're seeing.
