download problem

I tried to download "GoogleEarth" from the Google download site. I get a
message on the status bar that downloading is taking place. (over 10Meg)
After a couple of seconds I get amessage on the status bar that
downloading
is "Done". Not near enough time. I also get a blank screen with a small
square (about 1/4 in)in the upper left corner. This small square contains
a
tiny red square a green circle and a blue triangle. I have seen this
before
but I can't rember when.Can any body tell me what is going on? running XP
Pro with service pack 2 and Mcaff software. I got the same thing with
Norton
running.

Does your system meet minimum requirements to run Google Earth?

Try clearing out your Temporary Internet Files cache. Go to Control
Panel->Internet Options->click the Delete Files button
