White box in upper left hand corner

A small white box with a red square, green circle and blue
triangle in the upper left hand corner of a much larger
framed square has suddenly appeared on my desktop and
other programs. An additional such item has appeared
surrounding thefirst described. What is it and how can I
get ride of?

Hi Kenny,

I suspect you have web items on the desktop, and that they are not able to
synch up. Right-click the desktop, choose properties. Go to the Desktop tab,
click customize. On the Web tab, uncheck the loading entries.
