Hopefully someone can answer this for me.

Is it possible to downgrade from a non-native (still support 2000 DCs) 2003
domain to a 2000 AD domain?

The domain was previously upgraded from a 4.0 domain. DNS resides in AD.
What would the procedure be, and what might break?

Thanks,

Mark

Mark-

So long as you're not in 2003 native mode, you can do this all day. You
can't remove the schema extensions, but there's nothing preventing you from
having all 2k DCs.

Thanks for the reply Brian.

Since DNS is paritioned a little differently, and DNS is currently on a 2003
box, is there anything to consider there?

Mark

Thanks Brian.

You don't happen to know if WINS can be moved from 2003 to 2000 do you?

Mark

Sure. Setup push pull replication between them, replicate the database,
change your DHCP scope, wiat the lease time, and then remove the 2003 WINS
server.
