A person is having this problem and I can not do onsite with them.

"It seems that every time that I download something from Windows it messes
up my American Greeting Card Program. It does something to the Active X
controls and the Plug Ins. Any Advice? "

MS recently changed the way ActiveX works to comply with the court that
found them guilty of IP (patent) infringement. What worse is that MS
included this in with the latest IE Cumulative Security Update, which it
isn't a security update for the end user.

MS has release a tool that blocks this non-security ActiveX change for a
60 day period, so developers change their code to work again.

This is a clear example of MS's monopoly screwing everybody because of
their illegal activities. We all have to change, because MS is the
biggest IP thief on the planet!

Had similar problems and had to re-install programs that
shouldn't have been altered. Seems like there is nothing stable
about Win XP either when Microsoft is busy screwing things
around. Of course there is always the promise of the NEW Windows
just around the corner and available SOON. Of course MORE money
is involved but what the hay...they print more of that stuff
every day.
