Hi,

My computer runs on a swedish version of Win XP but I also need XP in
english.
Can I install both versions on same machine?
Is it possible to install Win 2000 on a machine that runs on Win XP -
perhaps use
a bootmanager program of some kind?

Thanks,
Martti

You have a few options:
a) Install all OSs on drive C:, each in its own folder. This is
possible but not recommended.
b) Install each OS on its own drive. This provides some
separation between OSs but it could cause problems later on.
c) Use a third-party boot manager and install each OS in its
own partition, completely invisible to each other OS.

If you select option b) then you must first save, then restore
the hidden files c:\ntldr and c:\ntdetect.com. If you don't then
you cannot boot into WinXP.

If you select option c) then I recommend XOSL as a
boot manager. It has a nice user interface, it can handle
all of your requirements and it's free.
