DOS Error caused by Symantec Uninstall!

MrBill

Hello,

I've just finished un-installing NAV 2007 from my PC. Everything
seems OK now with the exception that when I attempt to run DOS
applications, full-screen or in a window, I get the error:

16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem

C:\Progra~1\Symantec\S32EVNT1.DLL. An installable Virtual Device
Driver failed DLL installation.

It's hard to believe that Symantec would install something that would
FUBAR my DOS apps! Anyway, does anyone have a fix for this?

Thanks, MrBill

Hello again JS,

That didn't quite work, but it got me looking in the right places and
I finally was able to work out a fix.

Thanks!
