removing norton system works

V

victor

I have uninstalled Norton System Works 2004 pro which part of was norton anti-
virus with all the updates using the xp-home sp2 add/remove.

When tring to install a new program I get the message \PROGRA~1\Symantec\
S32EVNT1.DLL. An
installable Virtual Device Driver failed DLL
initialization. Choose "close" to terminate the application.

This seems to be a common problem with symantec ???

I look forward to hearing you if you have solved the problem
with this 16 bit subsytem failure

NIS (and other Norton products) doesn't uninstall cleanly. Try the
