domain login accidentally disabled

I have domain login previously on my win 2000Pro. I
think I accidentally disabled it when I add a new entry
in network connection (the wizard ask me if this is for
home or business network and I reply home), and now when
I try to login it only provide User ID and Password but
NO domain login and won't let me login. I was able to
use emergency boot diskette to access my c: but do not
know what system file need to modify to enable the domain
part. Can anyone help me either to accept my current
login setup or how to modify the system file to enable it
again? Thank you

You can't rejoin the domain unless you're on that network & have the local
admin credentials, as well as rights to join computers to the domain.
Presuming you still have access to that network, bring your computer back to
the office and ask the admin to do this...

You probably moved your PC from a domain validation to
a local validation. You now have two options:
a) Ask your network administrator to re-register your PC
on the domain, or
b) Ask him/her for a local account name & password.
