Does Windows XP Embedded support SWAP function?

Ann

If so, how can I forbid this?
We'll use CF card to store run-time image, and we want to reduce risk.

Thanks,

Ann,

Do you mean the system pagefile? If so it is set to 0 (off) be default in
the computer component.

Sean,

In windows,When memory is limited, system will use IDE(such as harddisk)
space as memory. I call this swap.
Do we refer to the same thing?

As known, CF card do not support swap.
If Windows XP embedded system will swap, I should forbid it before I put
runtime image on a CF.
How can I ?

Thanks,

Ann

Ann,

We are talking about the same thing. Pagefile support is dissabled by
default in Target Designer. To enable Pagefile support, you have to moddify
the Settings for your computer component (Standard PC, Advanced Computer and
Power Interface, etc.) and provide a file size.

Hope this helps.
