build an application running on XP Embedded

i have few questions to ask...
1. can i build an application that running on Industry PC (CF Card) and
running on XP Embedded? i need to build a system that connect with USB GSM
Modem.
2. Install a XP Embedded need how much space (CF Card)?
3. how much for XP Embedded license? where can i buy from? (Malaysia-Kuala
Lumpur)

1. Yes it is possible to build an application that run on a Industrial PC
with XPe. You might wan to test everything with XP Pro first. If the
application runs in XP Pro, it can run in XPe with the proper components.
2. The space required will depend on the features needed for the image.
Typically an image with networking and multimedia support is around 256MB.
3. I believe the local MS distributor is DST Asia. You might want to check
with them about pricing.
