Does anyone know what happened to the cmdprompt.admin group

I get the group right from the MS server... but there is only 1 post in it,
from 1/20.

Does anyone know what happened to it ?

Someone cleaned it out. Most of the stuff was soooo old and I hardly ever
saw anyone put anything in there....

People have definitely *not* stopped using it. There are 18 posts with
today's date in it. Perhaps you could try unsubscribe/resubscribe? Or
try accessing it from another news server (msnews.microsoft.com,
pssnews.msn.com). I usually use news.individual.net (free but you must
register first).

pssnews worked.

Good thing for google (archives), I had thousands of posts cached in my OE.
it made it easy to look things up while scripting on the train (chicago) ...

Accessing the group from msnews.microsoft.com, I see 682 articles total,
with 21 of them new since I checked it yesterday. The problem is likely
in your news server or client.
