Dll problem

Hi,
I have a prrblem in that suddenly my while booting up
gives an error beep, then displays the following message:

udconn.dll could not find speified module.

I then have to click on ok to get the machine to finish
startup. My question is
A. Is there a way to find out what program uses this
module so I can maybe restore it?

B. If you can't do the above then is there a way to get
around this so we can get the machine to startup without
going through this everytime?

The other end of this is that everytime I shut the
machine down at night we get runndll32.exe not shutting
down and becoming unresponsive, which is also a pain.
This started only recently, I cleaned up some unused
programs and susupect that one of these did not
completely uninstall, but I can't seem to get around this
problem. Any help would be great.

You have spyware on your system. Remove spyware with Spybot Search &
Destroy from www.safer-networking.org and Ad-aware from
www.lavasoftusa.com. Be sure to update these programs before running
them. These programs are free, so run them both since they complement
each other. It is best to run antivirus and spyware removal tools in
Safe Mode. You may also need to run CWShredder from
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/index.html . Please read the
instructions carefully. A great resource for dealing with spyware is
http://www.spywareinfo.com. Also, make sure you've visited Windows
Update and applied all security patches. Make sure you are running a
firewall and a current antivirus with updated virus definitions.
