Display Properties (Wallpaper)

In the box titled "Select a background picture or HTML
document as wallpaper:" I have lots of .bmp and .jpg files
that are not appropriate for this list. I don't know how
they got there and I can't figure out how to get rid of
them.

The files listed here come from three different places:

1. C:\WINNT
2. C:\WINNT\Web \Wallpaper
3. The user's My Pictures folder

Most likely the ones you don't want are in the My Pictures folder. To get
them out of that list, move them to another folder.
