Outlook Express 6 (PC using Windows XP Professional) A few days ago the
message box that opens when I click the Send/Receive button took up a new
position on my screen. It's so far to the left of the screen that I can't see
what's happening as far as the progress of sending and receiving mail. I've
tried everything I can think of. Does anyone have a suggestion for a fix?

While the box has the focus, press Alt-Spacebar, and then 'm' , then any arrow key, then move the mouse

To M Ferguson: Thank you for your reply which I just received this evening
at 9:45 pm EST (out of town all day). I have to report something odd,
though. About 11 pm Tuesday night, after 2 weeks of frustration, I went back
once more to mycomputer/control panel/display/appearance tab. This time I
noticed that the bar to select "windows and buttons," was labelled "Windows
XP modified." I clicked on the down arrow and chose just plain "Windows XP."
I have never knowingly changed that setting before so I don't know when the
"modification" occurred. Anyway, to my surprise and delight, when I checked
email early this morning before leaving home (before you had sent your
response), the message window was in its rightful place. So--since it seems
to be working, I won't try the option you provided. I'll print it off and
keep it handy tho, just in case. Thanks for responding. Grateful for your
time.
