Send and Receive Error

A few weeks back Outlook 2007 just stopped sending and receiving my messages
from every account but my hotmail. When I hit send/receive, nothing comes up
like a progress screen and the new hotmail messages just appear, but my Gmail
and school IMAP accounts don't sync. I cannot access the "define send/receive
groups," when I click it nothing happens. Any suggestions? I've run the
diagnostics.

No error messages? Do you have Outlook set to send/receive every XX minutes,
and if so, is it set to at least 10 minutes? If not, make sure you don't do
a manual receive more often than that. The servers need time to reset
properly between polls.

No error messages at all. I've set the timing to every 30 minutes, but it
does not change anything. I've tried removing all of the accounts, office
diagnostic, repair using the office disk, nothing. The only thing I have left
is maybe removing all of office and starting over.

You can also try renaming your send/receive settings file (it has a .srs
extension and might be in a hidden Windows folder) while Outlook is closed
and allowing it to build a new one...I'm suggesting that since you said you
can't get into Send/Receive. You can also try creating a new Outlook
profile. Instructions for creating a new mail profile can be found at
http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/newprofile.htm.

That Worked!! Thank you. It was really bothering me that I couldn't get my
mail all in one location. You saved my sanity

Which part worked -- the new profile? Asking so others can benefit from the
answer...
