display glitch

In big, green letters I keep getting the following across the bottom of my
screen:

MASTER VOLUME
...................................................

Has anyone had this problem? Know how to get rid of it?

Can you show us a Screen Shot of this? This will help us to find the
appropriate problem. Meanwhile, if you have a multimedia keyboard then maybe
the Increase/Decrease volume key has stuck.
