Disk Cleanup Utility

I have always used the Disk Cleanup utility on Windows
products, but with my six month old system, I just
decided to use it for the first time two days ago.

It launches as if it's going to do something and
then...it just hangs.

I left it overnight thinking that maybe there was so much
crap to look through, and this morning, 12 hours later,
the same initial three bars popped up...nothing further.

Does anyone have any ideas?
