device driver not found

hello friends ..

my xps m170 device driver for the dvd cd rom i not found..

i uninstalled a number of programs when i got my new gid drive external to store things there instead and bam.. i lost my dvd drive..

what can i do...

help me obi 1 your my only hope..

I've taken a guess that you are running Windows XP on the laptop. If so, the drivers you need are on this page under "removable storage":

There are a few types to choose from, so just pick the one you have

ok im on it .. but i forgot to mention it also dislocated my sd card slot also on the side of my pc..
should i look for that driver also..

ohh i also fogot... whicih will show how im all D*&(^ # up..

but the sound also took a vacation..

all these things were part of the programs i took out then bam bam bam
