Desktop disappeared

I "somehow" made my desktop disappear. I know there's a
way to not display the desktop but I can't remember how
to undo. Help? Tips? Thanks!

Depends on how you hid it. You just need to reverse the steps. Maybe you
used a right click on the desktop and clicked on Arrange Icons By... and
then unchecked Show Desktop Items?
