If you were on a desert island where your one luxury was a PC, your one book was a comprehensive guide to repairing PCs, what games would you take if you could only have...

:user: ONE single player game you have played before

:user: ONE multi-player game you have played before

:user: ONE single or multiplayer game that you have not played yet

For me they would be...

Single-player I've played before: FarCry (Very replayable and appropriate scenery for a desert island game:cool: )

Multi-player I've played before: 3D Live Pool (I often play my younger brother at this and have a web chat at the same time:wave: )

Not played yet: UT4 (Online FPS - release imminent - it just gets better every time:thumb: )

OK...how's about ya'll out there?

Single player: Half Life 2 (Or maybe Quake 1, hard choice)

Multi-player: Call Of Duty One

Un-played game: That's a hard one, cos if I like it, I'll buy it, so:

Probably Stalker: Chernobyl, cos I never did try that one.

(And I didn't say Crysis cos it ain't released yet ;) )

£9.99 Delivered. Bargain, and the 1.4 patch is out so it should run well. :)

As the Holloways so eloquently put it to song....

This Island's got a generator, floated all the way from the Devon coastline.

And 50 year's supply of diesel.

Betcha never said that to Michael Parkinson & Sue Lawley when they were hosting Desert Island Discs :p

Ain't played many games so my vote goes for

Tomb Raider with the Gildos plus the extra texture packs . The Gildos really is worth the $5 .

Havent played a multi player yet but I recon Call of Duty would be good .

After seeing the screen shots etc I really want to play BioShock it looks so cool .

Oh well dreaming over with I'll just get on with Half Life , got a 4 disc set of e-bay for £9 inc postage , came with a handwritten letter hpeing that I would enjoy the games . An the discs look brand new not a scratch in sight . Its nice to know that there are some decent folks around .

:D

1. Deus Ex

2. COD 2

3. Crysis (I know it's not out yet, but I think I've played everything else!)

Just ordered Stalker: Chernobyl from HMV for 9.99 inc postage and also ordered double audio CD, that radio One thingie 'Established 1967' for 9.99 inc postage.

HMV doing some good deals lately, better than Playcom even, Playcom wanted 11.99 for the audio CD.

So, looking forward to Stalker now, almost finished Bioshock I think, close to the end of Fort Frolic level.
