HELP!!! When I boot up, I keep getting a pop-up telling
me there is a new version of "Windows Messenger". I
don't even want the old one (never use it anyway). I
went to the control panel and "Windows Messenger" is not
listed when I click on "Add/Remove Software". I
attempted to delete it from the programs folder and an
error message tells me that it is in use and can't be
deleted. I then went to MSCONFIG and disabled it in the
startup procedure. Even with it disabled upon startup, I
can't get rid of the program and the annoying pop-us.
Suggestions anyone?

TIA
David
