Messengers - none of them work

Cannot get MSN or windows messenger to work. I have now disabled windows
messenger and deleted then reinstalled MSN messenger. I keep getting error
code 8100030d. I am running SP2 and I never had these problems before I got
it. Any suggestions as its doing my head in!

Also have just downloaded and installed yahoo messenger - set up a new
account and got the same problem. It wont log me in. Windows firewall is
set to allow all these and I have no contents bars by my service provider.
