delete network printer

I am unable to delete a network printer from a client because this
printer no longer exists on the print server
how can I force a deletion of this object?

Delete: C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3

You may have to stop the spool service first, that may require disabling and
rebooting.
