delete defender

how can i get reet of defender i cant use my pc any longer defender block
everything
i cant install any program or use or open anything anymore

I don't want defender anymore but i cant even delete it
what can i do


I cant can go into Tools, Options, and scroll down to
"advanced options" and exclude an area or program from scanning.

I suspect that something bad happened to your system and Windows Defender's
behavior is symptomatic versus causal. To disable WD (assuming you can get
into the WD window) click WD Help (the ?) down arrow and click Exit Windows
Defender. This action would be temporary, i.e., a reboot would start WD
again. A more permanent change would be to use Adminstrative Tools and goto
Services. One way to get to Services is via the Control Panel->Performance
and Maintenance->Adminstrative Tools and click Services. Once under Services
find Windows Defender (highlight it) and Stop the Service and then right
click and click properties and use disable for the startup type. I would
reboot and check the status of your system. If there are still problems, I
would look for an appropriate restore point prior to your observation of the
problem and do a System Restore. Is it possible that you ran a WD scan and
it found and removed something? Or maybe you responded to some real time
message and blocked something? Did you look at the system event logs?
I can only speculate because you haven't provided any background prior to
encountering your problem.

Also before you do the System Restore you might want to bring your system up
in Safe Mode (the F8 key after BIOS and before Windows starts). If the
problems go away in safe mode, then you may have a bad driver. Another safe
mode option is to use last known good configuration. If that fixes the
problem, then your registry may have been damaged. Good luck.

I think the problem was abaut... Administrator conti in VISTA,- and not the
Defender at all !!!

Are you saying that you deleted Windows Defender from a Vista machine?

This is not recommended--and you may need to reinstall or restore the system
to an earlier date to recover from it.
