Windows Defender

Windows defender keeps asking if I want to allow different programs to make
changes. allow or block it says on one of them i said block and a stupid
error message appeared (could not complete the action 0x80501001) and it says
failed. And after you have allowed programs can u block them? I have looked
everywhere. I cant find anything. MICROSOFT i like most of your stuff but
comeone you need advanced options for people who no a little bit more than
check the box or dont. I am very dissapointed Windows Defender (Beta 2). Isnt
(Beta 2) supposed to be better than (Beta 1) the first antispyware. Im still
scratching my head over this. It should be called Windows Defender (Beta 1/2)

If you allow, for example, a trojan to run, you've lost control of your
system--Windows Defender cannot take that back for you. If you allowed
something which is removable via add or remove programs, that's one way out.

System Restore is another.

Windows Defender is not System Restore, or GoBack--it is intended to help
block things, but not to script reversal of all the actions a given piece of
code could take once you OK it.
