Putting Defender Icon in Notifications Area (System Tray)

After having Geek Sq. reinstall Windows Vista Prem. i'm having to put
everything back together again on my computer. Defender icon appears in
taskbar, but not in system tray like it used to, with the squirlley thing
that spins when it's scanning my system. How do I do that? I've tried
defender, tools, options, but nothing about it. Thanks in advance

To be sure.
From the Windows Defender Interface/GUi try:

Tools -> Options -> and scroll down to:

Choose when the Windows Defender icon appears in the notification area:

[It's under the Real-time protection options]

Select Always

and Save

Reboot
