Delayed Write Failed message

Hi,
When trying to transfer large files through my Belkin 54g USB wireless
adapter I get "Delay Write Failed" message and the adaptor disconects for a
while from the network. Any suggestions? Belkin technical support has no
clues abt it. The error occurs only when using the wireless network. The
wired one works fine.
