definition updates

before i have installed the new window defender beta2 ihave had microsoft
spyware beta1, and now when i have installed it there is a message say
Windows Defender definitin havent been updated in 26 days, and while iam
connecting the the site to update the definitin this error appear (window
defender was unable to complete the update 0x80240030) can any body help me
an tell me what this code mean. thanx in advance

I would recommend looking at the proxy server settings in IE for your
connection. Sometimes checking "automatically detect" may help and then
again, if that is checked, try unchecking it.

You might also simply go directly to WindowsUpdate and check for
updates--see if updates for Windows defender signatures are offered.
