default setting

I had to re-install windows xp home edition on my computer. and now the screen sesolutuin
is set to the default monitor is on. I can not change the settings. Can anyone tell me how
to change the default setting?
 
Hi Kathy,

You likely need to install a proper display adapter for your system. In all
likelyhood, all you currently are using is a standard VGA adapter. See the
system manufacturer or video card maker's site for the proper driver set.
