Nero Changed Music and Picture Defaults

I installed Nero and it changed the defaults for my music and pictures. How
can I change the defaults back to their original settings? I using XP Home.

It changed the default opening program because you let it do that.
Anyways, to change it back to another program:
Using Windows Explorer / My Computer.... Right click on one of the
files that you wish to change.

Select "Open With" ---> "Choose Program"
Select desired program from listing
Check "Always use this program to open file"
Click OK

That should do it!

Like duke said, you let it do that. As well behaved as software installation
procedures may be, they still often have too much clutter in the initial
opening screens and you don't notice the important choices being offered
before you click "proceed". Take your time when you do these things. Take
your hands off the mouse & keyboard & read. Twice.

You'll have to use the Registry to restore your associations back.

Find the extension you wish to change, like this example:

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.wmv]

Nero:
Default = NeroShowTime.Files{#}.wmv

Original:
Default = wmvfile
