Hello,

Does anybody know of a way to decrypt a SQL 2005 data column from within
Access, using ODBC to connect to the SQL database?

Can you expand on this question? I not sure what you mean by decrypt here?
As a normal process and use of odbc, you can simple link to sql server and
then use that as if it was very much like a standard local table in
ms-access. Nothing additional is require, and decrypting is not needed.
