Carl Zimmerman

Hi: How do I install Cyrillic (Russian) alphabet on my
keyboard so I can switch from English to Cyrillic & vice
versa Keyboard settings in Control Panel in Windows XP on
my PC excludes reference to regional alphabets. Also, my
XP manuals don't address this. Please reply to me at
(e-mail address removed). Thanks. Carl

To compose a document using multiple languages:

Create or open a document.
In the notification area, click the language icon located
near the system time, and then click the language you want
to use.
Compose your document.
To change languages, click the language icon in the
notification area, and then select another language from
the list.

Note:
If the language icon is not in the notification area,
click Start
click Control Panel
then double-click Date Time Regional and Language Options.
On the Languages tab, click Details
On the Settings tab, click Add
Use the dropdown menu to select Russian
Click OK and set your Preferences for the Language Bar and
Key Settings

My language bar initially docked in the lower-right of the
screen and hid under the notification area. Then it
disappeared and I found it in the upper-right corner. Pull
it around by its left edge. Just click on the current
language to choose a new language. Click on the arrow on
the right side of the language bar to change settings.
Beware of the minus sign above the arrow! The bar will
hide under the notification area if you click it.
