Cut & Paste buffer problem

Greetings...

When editing forwarding emails with the 'Source' tab (Rich Text), when I
select a piece of text that I want to use over and over a large number of
times, it'll work for a while, until I do something like select a section
and delete it, or set the cursor and 'backup' to erase text. This is very
annoying, especially since it worked in the old reliable Outlook Express.

Another function that doesn't work is drag-and-drop. I'll select a piece of
text to move it to another position, but it won't work under any conditions.

Thanks for any hints, tips, and/or solutions anyone can provide.

Mike

The source window has a limit of 64K. If you go over that, then it won't
allow you to add any more, or it erases some of what is there. If you need
to insert more than that, then use Insert | Text from File and then you can
choose a txt or htm file.

You may be on to something here. I seem to recall that when I first got my
Vista machine I was editing e-mail and it seemed to work OK, but at some
point I remember the Clipboard window came up and I clicked on something in
the window and it hasn't worked the same since!

Is there a way to get the Clipboard window to show up again, or at least to
see what the options are?

Thanks...

Mike
