CPU Speed??

Okay here is my problem. My laptops CPU speed is way too slow. For example I
used to play a computer game couple months back and it was fine and this game
took up alot of memory, after a while didn't play the game so took it off my
laptop. Then I got back into the same game and just recently added it on my
computer again except this time got a message saying Slow CPU Speed. The game
does work on the laptop but it gets all messed up and choppy graphics when I
play and it really stinks. So then i tryed removing alot of programs on my
computer. No change in CPU speed. Took all my pictures off and alot of videos
off my computer. Still no change. I did everything from Disk Defragment to
Cleaning up crap on the computer. No change please someone help me out. How
do you increase CPU speed??? e-mail me (e-mail address removed) thank you or

Its just about impossible to try to fix that problem(s),you failed to give
any
information as to what hardware youre running with,let alone if SP2 is
installed.
Thier are a few fixes for both AMD & Intel based boards,but w/o info......

And what does the game publisher say about this message?

The game

That would be expected, since they're not really related.

The things you describe doing, removing files and defragmenting, pretty much
don't have anything at all to do with CPU speed.

Check the manual for your system and look for entries on CPU speed. If the
laptop has an Intel processor, look for SpeedStep.

Aside from that, some information about your system would help.
