Could not find domain xxx

I'm on 2K advanced server, Build 2195 Service Pack 4Free.

This machine is setup as a domain controller.

After the most recent round of windows updates yesterday, I cannot
login due to the server not finding the domain.

It either gives the could not find domain error, or just goes back to
the ctrl-alt-delete screen.

It does this in regular and safe mode, and I cannot log in at all.

Is there a way to either not login to the domain, so I can at least get
on the machine, or a way to see how to fix this.

I cannot even log in to the thing.

Thanks

Try this:

1) Log in locally with Admin priv.
2) Disable Windows Update
3) Reinstall SP4
4) Restart

Thanks Cameron, but I can't log in locally, at all.

No safe mode.

Nothing.

I cannot even get past the ctrl-alt-delete screen.

I cannot get rid of the domain it's logging into, the domain is the
only choice in the list...

Fred,
You need to get hold of a Linux Boot Disk.
Once you have that and booted up changed local admin password etc. you can
then log onto windows.
Once in Windows, I would check to see if DEP is on, if not turn it on, dont
add any apps , just turn it on!

I may have just wafted on, cant remember if DEP is in win 2kAdv Server!
