Cought in a reboot loop

Dear Microsoft,

As I was attempting a reinstallation of XP Home, I
encountered a blue screen error (with about 34 minutes to
go). When I restarted the system, now it gives me the XP
spash screen, then says "continuing with setup", but then
it doesn't continue with the set-up, it restarts and goes
through the same loop again and again. Can you give me
an idea of what I can do...I don't need to save anything
on the hard drive, just want to get to the desktop!

You probably have to restart your installation. Boot with
your WinXP CD, then allow your disk to be formatted
when prompted.

By the way, while this newsgroup is hosted by Microsoft,
its respondents are not MS staff. They are volunteers from
all over the world.
