Corrupt or unreadable.

I have run check disk utility and I am getting several files that are corrupt
or unreadable. My windows System32 file seems to be missing but when I check
where it is supposed to be it is reading as though it is there but is not.

You mean "folder"?

Do you have the system setup to see hidden and system files/folders?
 
Yes...I have done that and I still do not see the system32 FOLDER. All that
are hidden are visible but that one is not. I reads as though it is listed in
the windows folder but once I click on the windows folder it is not there.
