Corrupt msg stuck in Outbox; can't send any messages, can't delete

We have a corrupted message stuck in Windows Mail outbox. It is preventing
Mail from sending any email out.

Cannot delete the message nor move it or copy it. Mail error alert says,
"an error has occurred with this message" Yeow - that helps.

Tried running database maintenance. No help. Condition remains.

Message body space in display says "unable to display this message" if we
try to delete or move it. Otherwise NO errors are expressed by Mail. Send
runs perfect, then Mail behaves as if it thinks there is no mail to go out.

Corrupted msg in outbox is clearly the problem.

Any help would be most appreciated.

FYI: account settings are perfect and generate no errors on receive
(identical settings); no errors on the server (because mail never tries to
send) and works perfectly in web interface.

Sounds like your computer problems are more severe than just email.
You may have to reinstall Vista.

Windows Mail is part of Vista and is very hard to uninstall or reinstall
without doing the same to the rest of Vista. Restoring to factory
settings should uninstall and reinstall both, but will probably wipe out
any files you've saved since Vista was installed before.

Thanks for reply. In the meantime, I found info on Vista Forum..How to Fix
Most Problems with Vista's Windows Mail...www.vistax64.com/tutorials/62560.
Wealth of info for any problems...one section talks about reseting WM if
there is corrupt file. I might try! Also, infor about restoring for
different reasons. If you check it out, would you let me know what you
think. Thank you!

I couldn't find it. Note that resetting WM is likely to wipe out all your
saved messages.
