Can't send emails

I can receive but not send emails. The problem seems to be a message with an
attachment stuck in the outbox. I have deleted all other messages from the
outbox but I cannot delete this one. When I click on the message it says
'Message could not be displayed. Windows mail encountered an unexpected
problem while displaying this message. Check your computer for low memory or
disk space and try again'. There is no problem with memory or disk space.

When I try to delete it I get an error message saying 'An unknown error has
occurred'.

Can anyone help please?

If any message can't be moved or deleted, apply this Microsoft fix:

Although that article only mentions Outbox, it works for all mail folders.
