copying fr one word doct to another and keep formatting

Hi, I'm trying to copy one page out of a word doc to a blank word doc but
when I copy it - it copys to two pages and formatting is changed. I've tried
the Paste Special function but can't get the same formatting to copy - any
suggestions.

You have the luxury of copying to a blank doc, use it. Save the main doc to
a new name, delete everything except the part you're trying to copy.
