How are you deleting the cookies? Meanwhile, read this note from Malke.
This happens because the hand (while dragging to the Recycle Bin, yes?)
isn't as steady as one would want.
First, turn down your mouse sensitivity from the Mouse applet in Control
Panel. Next, change the way you delete files. Select and then either
right-click on the selected file and choose Delete or select and use the
File>Delete menu item.
To select multiple contiguous files, select the first file in the series and
then hold down the Shift key and click on the last file in the series. All
will then be selected. Right-click anywhere in the selected files and choose
Delete. To select multiple non-contiguous files, hold down the Ctrl key.
