contents cd

hi all

windows explorer does not refresh the name/contents when i put another
cd in the cd-player - has it something to do with autoplay settings?
anyway, it is very frustrating.
any solution how to solve this anooying problem?

I'm not aware of any fix but you're not alone with this annoyance. The same
bug has been around since at least Win98. I don't remember if Win95
suffered from this or not and I'm not sure if it's been remedied in WinXP.

i forget to mention that i use windows 2000. well, not being alone
helps a tiny little bit, but it is still annoying <g>

Try pressing the F5 key if you don't want to close and reopen the Window
displaying the CD contents.
 
Yeah, that'll work but I find the left pane (folder view) still retains the
old structure.
