Contacts Found In Multiple Folders - Outlook 2003

I have a strange problem that perhaps some of you can help me with.

I have three Outlook 2003 Contacts folders; Contacts, Business and Travel.
I'm finding entries that are supposed to be in my main "Contacts" folder
copying into my "Business" and "Travel" folders (while remaining in the
"Contacts" folder...).

Any idea why this is happening?
