Constantly downloading same update

Update, Windows XP KB 828741 keeps repeatedly downloading on auto download
and Installs on the system successfully, even when I go to the update site
this Critical update still appears as if I did not have it on my computer,
Viewing the download history I have KB 828741 as successfully installed many
times.

Does anyone have any advice for me, if so it would be much appreciated. Paul

Thanks Barry but nothing here really helped I did find another message in
the news group with similar problems.
The fix was to download and install a script that just stops that
particular update from downloading again, it probably dosent fix the problem
but hopefully future updates will not do the same.
