I have managed to turn off the confirm message when I delete files and I
can't remember where the button is to turn it back on.

Any help here will be appreciated. I'm afraid that I'm going to delete
something that I don't really want to delete and I really want to turn it
back on.

R-click Recycle Bin and choose "Properties", you can figure it out from
there.
